The MoveUp Partnership for Adult Learning has announced the launch of its all-new website built by StitchDX of Lowell, Massachusetts. Featuring improved usability and greater interactivity, the site is a new, one-stop information resource for adult learners; the educational, governmental, and nonprofit organizations that serve them; and private sector individuals and organizations wishing to play a role in lifting underserved Hartford-area populations out of poverty.
At MoveUp, we’re working hard to combat hatred and bigotry wherever we find it. One piece that we’ve found helpful is this one from the Huffington Post titled “Haters Don’t Work Here.”
At MoveUp, we are constantly looking for interesting new approaches that are more trauma-informed.
MoveUp’s first annual meeting back in 2012 was attended by about 30 people. This year, more than 100 people gathered representing state & municipal governments, educational centers, workforce development, and a number of community-based service organizations.
